SATEC BMF-II BRANCH FEEDER MONITOR

SATEC’s BFM-II is the second generation of Branch Feeder Monitor™, providing energy management for multi-point power solutions. Ideal for both new and retrofit projects, the BFM-II automatically provides metering, demand and energy readings, logging and multi-tariff (TOU) data.

The BFM-II monitors up to 18 three-phase circuits, 54 single-phase circuits, or any combination of single or three phase circuits. This flexibility makes the BFM-II perfect for multi-tenant facilities such as residential projects, office buildings and shopping malls. Its modular design offers a selection of 18, 24, 30, 36, 42 or 54 channels to fit any requirement and to easily fit into existing panel boards or be flush mounted nearby, thus eliminating the need for expensive retrofit projects or for allocating extra space for the device.

The BFM-II supports power quality monitoring to identify existing and potential operation problems, such as overloading or malfunctioning due to voltage or current harmonics, or voltage sags and swell.

The BFM-II utilizes High Accuracy Current Sensors (HACS), which measure and report the current consumed by each of the branch circuits at the panel board. For billing purposes, single or multiple circuits can be defined for each customer. This flexibility allows for a simple reassignment of circuit groups without wiring changes, and enables easy changes when tenants move in and out. Main panel board or load center installation makes for a valuable saving of both time and money.

The BFM’s user-defined and easily configured alarm system enables users to take predictive maintenance action in order to avoid unnecessary outages

Satec PM175 POWER QUIALITY ANALYZER

The PM175 is a compact, multi-function, three-phase AC Power Meter and power quality analyzer specially designed to meet the requirements of users ranging from electrical panel builders to substation operators. Selection of bright 3-row LED or 5.7″ touch screen graphic color display provides easy local meter readings.

 

The display module is freely detachable and can be located at a distance of up to 1000 meters from the device. Two communication ports allow local and remote automatic meter readings and setup though the supplemental communication or user data acquisition software.

 

Different communication options are available for remote communications with the meter including TCP/IP, Profibus and public telephone lines

The DAC1-13 is an extreme duty Type 1+2 pluggable SPD designed to protect AC powerline at the main switchboard of an installation equipped with lightning rod. The technology ‘Multi-varistor” allows a very high discharge current capability in small dimensions and the best possible behavior to the AC network (no follow current). In the light of their high discharge capability, the DAC1-13 surge protectors are especially compact and are available in multipolar versions to protect single or 3-phase AC networks.

SATEC EM132 is a Smart DIN Rail Multi-Function Transducer with a local display. It is based on SATEC’s best seller PM130 PLUS with an off-the-shelf LCD display (similar to the BFM136 display). The EM132 provides the full functionality of the PM130P PLUS combined with energy measurement and battery backup for the real time clock.

 

The EM132 is fully compatible with all PM130 PLUS modules. The EM132 can serve any application from residential energy metering, through industrial energy and harmonic analysis through utility comprehensive substation automation. It provides multi-functional 3-phase power metering, revenue metering and basic power quality information.

 

The EM132 features an internal real time clock (RTC), battery backup and onboard non-volatile memory for event and data logging. The device includes 16 set points and 4 counters that operate various analog and digital I/O add-ons. The EM132 offers wide range of network configurations and versatile voltage and current connections: 57 to 400V AC, up to 100A direct current measurement, connection of standard CTs (1A, 5A) and a wide range of remote CTs (split or solid cores).

SATEC EM133 is a Smart DIN Rail TOU Energy Meter. It is based on SATEC’s best seller PM130 PLUS with an off-the[1]shelf LCD display (similar to the BFM136 display). The EM133 provides the full functionality of the PM130EH PLUS combined with 2 Digital Inputs, 1 Digital Output, IR (Infra Red) communication and battery backup for the real time clock. It is fully compatible with all PM130 PLUS modules.

 

The EM133 can serve any application from residential energy metering, through industrial energy and harmonic analysis through utility comprehensive substation automation. It provides multifunctional 3-phase power metering, revenue metering and basic power quality information.

 

The EM133 features an internal real time clock (RTC), battery backup and onboard non-volatile memory for event and data logging. The device includes 16 set points and 4 counters that operate the built in 2 DI/ 1RO or the various analog and digital I/O add-ons. The EM133 offers a wide range of network configurations and versatile voltage and current connections: 57 to 400V AC, up to 63A direct current measurement, connection of standard CTs (1A, 5A) and a wide range of remote CTs (split or solid cores).

The PM130 PLUS is a compact, multi-function, three-phase AC Power Meter specially designed to meet the requirements of users ranging from electrical panel builders to substation operators. The PM130 PLUS measurement inputs and power supply comply with Measuring Category III.

The PM130 PLUS units include:

  • A bright 3-row LED display enabling easy reading of local meters.
  • A standard RS-485 communication port and a second optional RS-232/RS-422/RS-485, Ethernet, Profibus, Cellular or RF port (in certain regions only). These ports allow local and remote automatic meter readings and setup through the supplemental communication or user data acquisition software.
  • Different communication options for remote communications with the meter.
